Peace and Harmony ??

On Sunday I shall fly to Spain to join Kev whose liver is in remission for good behaviour.
I shall be there for one week.

Kev drove down in the white van last Monday taking 3 bikes and 2 guitars which could not be entrusted to Ryanair.

Don't ask why he needs a total of 4 bikes in Spain.
I did and I have lived to regret it.

So I intend to:

= Work on my relationship
= Build bridges
= Pour oil on troubled waters
= Smoke the pipe of peace.

I shall address my anger management issues, practise team building skills and investigate the infinite possibilities of chemistry.

I shall practise counting to ten, rational discussion, negotiation techniques and - even a bit of forgive and forget.

How many more bloody clichés do you need?

The place where we stay appears on my blogroll. Can you spot it?

Wish me luck.

You are going to have a personality transplant for a week? Why? None of those cliches sound like the Kaz we know and love. Besides, if you had wanted to be bored solid for a week, you could always book a package tour to Hunstanton.

Go have fun, create a bit of Kaz havoc, it'll be better for his liver in the long run.

You forgot to mention Burying the Hatchet!

Or you could try this

2 guitars? You can be the new Brian and Michael. (or Michaela)

Guitars are liike can never have too many. I've never felt the same about bikes and never owned more than one at a time.

Presumably you're staying in "Betty's Utility Room" ...though it's probably called "El Rooma Bettya Utilitya".

Can you tell I don't speak Spanish (or Catalan.....or anything else really).

Nah, it's either Hyde or Barcelona or somewhere that she "Likes The View".

Anyway, Kaz, remember to

WRITE DOWN all the positive things about your relationship
TALK THROUGH any differences of opinion
TRY to reach a resolution
and finally ...
REACH CLOSURE and go forward with your lives

I'm sure that's what Jeremy Kyle would recommend. Good luck.

I've googled Hunstanton before when it was mentioned in a comment.
Is it a bit like Scunthorpe?

Havoc? Moi?

Murph: Burying it where?

I shall go to the supermercado and buy an egg - who knows where it will end up.
Gordon Ramsay giving advice about harmony and negotiation is rather like asking yourself to advise about looking after a pussy cat!

I like the French bloke.

Behave yourself - I will be Suzie Quatro or I'm not playing!

My ambition is to visit Betty's Utility Room.
But, in the absence of an invitation, I'll just have to make do with the Costa.

Hyde is a bit too near Brian and Michael folk singing country.
My destination is a couple of hours north of Barcelona - and it's not called Vicus Scurra.

Talking? Closure? What no SHOUTING or SLAMMING allowed?

Thanks Arabella.
OOh stretchy cossie's bring back bad memories. They were so heavy they made you sink.

Do you stay on a train? Or have they moved Ackworth?
Or is your holiday home simply "Mr Angry".

(About the bikes - "us too".)

If you Reach Closure, you then have to Move On, remember.

It could of course be Wyndham, which Ryan Air think is Norwich.

Have a gr8 time Kaz!!!

You're not forming a folk music troupe are you?

7:29 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

Nope - Remember it's Catalunya.
Move on eh?
Does watching DVDs count as moving on? Or do I have to do something difficult like 'make new friends'.

Wyndham - no.
Ryan Air thinks Girona is Barcelona.
It'll be claiming Liverpool is Manchester soon.

You should know me better than that by now.
