39 Comments:
No 1 is our Gordie! I'll leave the rest for all the others so as not to spoil it.
(Apart from the last one which is our own little Kazster)
I thought no 1 was Mr P. Shows what I know.
8 the president-elect of the USA, who's name eludes me at present.
No 11 is you, isn't it Kaz?
If the others are famous people, I'm afraid the cult of personality passes me by.
I don't think any of them are me.
ye gods - that first one looks a bit like me as a youngster.
saw some coal tits round the bird feeder this morning!
Mister Murph:
What others?
Sorry - the last one is certainly NOT Ms KAZ.
I was far beter looking than that as a child. However, she seemed to overtake me later on - I suspect surgery.
Dave:
See above.
I shall publish the picture of mini me with Annette Mills and Muffin the Mule in a future post.
Gerald:
You should be very worried.
Coal tits are lovely - they are having a good year - or should I say had as it's 2009 now.
Number 6 is Russell Brand which I know cos I read Booky Wook.
Is no. 4 the Pub Landlord?
No. 9 can't be Kev cos it's in colour. It must be Rooney!
And no. 10 is Stuart Maconie.
No. 5 looks like Philip Schofield in a girl's wig... surely not?
Well, number 3 looks familiar and number 7 is wearing a bonnet not unlike the kind of thing my mum would've made for me, probably using a pattern from a 10 year old Womans Realm.
I'm pretty sure that 3 is Kate Moss and 11 is Amy Winehouse (no wonder she ended up on crack, eh?).
I may be back if I figure out any more, but I've started the new year with a bad cold and I'm a bit spaced out.
Geoff:
Russell - correct.
no 4 - not the pub landlord - this guy has hair now.
no 9 isn't Rooney and no 10 isn't Stuart though one of them is on there.
Steve:
You are right to say 'surely not'.
no 5 grew up to be a great beauty.
Beth:
yeah - me too. and I think my gran sewed a bob on it.
She was brilliant with bobs.
Betty:
Sorry about the cold - but I'd love to be spaced out at this particular moment.
Kate and Amy - spot on.
Number 11 is Minnie Mouse. Obviously.
I'm sure I recognise some of these but my brain isn't really back online yet. I will come back later...
Sx
4 is Rooney. Little scouse get.
I could only be sure of #6: Russell Brand.
And #4: GARFER.
Is No 5 Sarah Palin, and is No 9 Steven Gerard.
We have coal tits no problem , but I'm worried about the finches. last year we had Green, Gold and Chaff, this year none so far - is it too early or too cold up here on Dartmoor or what?
Gerald:
You should be very worried.
I AM - VERY!
I'm pulling a complete blank, so I'm having to make do with a rude comment.
No 11 has big ears...did you say she had plastic surgery?
Pete:
Not much gets past you does it?
Scarlet:
If only we could just press a button to refresh our brain like we refresh a web page.
Geoff:
It certainly is.
Is he a get or git?
MJ:
You have a soft spot for Russell haven't you?
Not Garfer - no4 is sober.
no 10 was for you.
Tom:
Spot on with Gerard.
The dirty rotten turncoat.
We always have loads of greenfinches on our feeder and still have - but I read that there was a virus earlier this year that wiped many of them out.
I don't know about the other two - but it's only the early breeders that did well in the wet summer.
Gerald:
You and Gordon eh?
Separated at birth?
Roses:
That's Amy Winehouse - she's had most things.
neither do I recognise any of them, nor do I "do" rude
thus, I can only apologise for "borrowing" your lovely jug of sangria earlier
many apologies
No, I still can't do it..
Sx
(I thought I'd sneakliy try and save the photos, in a bid to see if you'd named the individuals concerned, but you've labelled them 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th - blast!)
(a complete stab in the dark.) The Current Everton First-Eleven + one substitute?????
Well it could also be Amy W(h)inehouse
couldn't it?
View:
Maybe not rude - but how about 'cheeky'?
Scarlet:
Don't worry - I'll do Quantum Physics next week.
No 2 hasn't changed much.
View:
Ah!
That's what I always do.
It takes one to know one - as they say.
Tony:
Is Wayne Rooney the substitute?
Or Gerard?
Pete:
Correct!
You should try no2 - she's a superstar now..
Was I right?!?
Number 2 could be either Emma Bunton or Rachel Stevens
Pete:
Yes.
No.
No.
:0)
I often confuse my own two children's baby pictures, so this is not my forte, but I would bet No 5 is Julia Roberts...
The others I've truly no idea about.
Granted, there isn't much superstar about either Rachel or Emma.
I have no idea who no 2 is but no 3 could be Michelle Trachtenberg
"Merseyside giants to meet in Cup .........." I Fancy Tranmere to Win..!
Hello Eliza:
You are quite right - it is the lovely Julia.
Unfortunately there are no prizes.
Pete:
Michelle WHO?
No - no3 is the fabulous Kate Moss as spotted by Betty.
Tony:
And we play them in the premiership the week before.
We heard it on the radio live today.
Kev was driving and nearly caused a serious pile up in Longsight.
I wish we were playing Tranmere - a lovely team.
Answers, Kaz.
We need answers.
1 Damien the Anti-Christ
2 Angelina Jolie
3 Uma Thurman
4 John Lithgow
5 Julia Roberts
6 Herman Munster Jr
7 Posh Spice
8 Jimi Hendrix
9 Gerard Butler
10 Christian Bale
11 Natalie Portman
12 Winston Churchill
Good guesses all!
Hah! Dawn from Buffy. She is so annoying.
MJ:
Done.
Donn:
Angelina - yes.
Julia - yes
No - not Jimi - it's my other hero Thierry.
Nicole Kidman would be proud!
P.S. I love a guy who isn't afraid to guess.
Pete:
Thanks - I miss Buffy.
yes, I knew all those.
Next?
Ziggi:
OOh - what a long nose you have!
Wow. I never would have guessed Celine Dion. The only one I got was Julia Roberts.
If you were Amy Winehouse's mother, wouldn't you spend a lot of time looking at old family albums and weeping?
Oh I can see it now, no 5 is miss horseteeth!
Rooney looks the same doesn't he?
I always knew that Philip Schofield was a pretty woman.
SSS:
If I were Amy's mum the thought of all the money she's earning might cheer me up.
Cynical - MOI?
Pete:
You can be very cruel.
Rooney didn't look quite so much like Shrek in those days.
Steve:
I prefer Richard Gere meself.
