something just for you!

(click on the "colour" to find the marmalade)(yes, I know, it's pricey - that's why I make my own)(nice label tho. . .)

I'll take no 21 as a compliment.

That Seville Orange looks marvellous. I don't mind how much I spend to get the best marmalade.
I also love that burnt orange velvet cushion which would match the marmalade :)

Dave:
Why should you be the only one to get a TV station named after you?

Blogger Steve said...

2, 21 and 36 make you my kind of person. Do hope you take that as a compliment.

Blogger Roses said...

Yes, you may now go out and play.

And many thanks for #32.

Didn't Murph train Rog well?

Mmmm....marmalade on good toasted bread with real butter AND coffee!

Your meme rocks, I love your answers.

Have a great weekend.

PS: Oh Hai Roses!

Blogger Liz said...

Excellent!

I laughed out loud at number 22 (sorry Rog).

I saw this meme on Dave's blog last week and had thought of using it, but 7 days later I have failed to come up with enough answers.

Oh Hai xl & roses!

well done, sugar! i'm still stuck on jethro speaking catalan! (you know he's going to be my next husband, don't you?) xoxoxo

Steve:
So - would you like to be called Dave?
Steve suits you better.
Glad you have the same leanings.

Roses:
Thanks miss!
Glad you approve of the toast and marmalade and the answers.

XL:
That's lovely - thanks. I'll play it with breakfast tomorrow.
I've never heard Tin Tin before - though I liked The Thompson Twins.

Liz:
It's not an easy meme to do - I still don't get no31 about the tulips and track stars.

Savannah:
Keep off Jethro - he's mine.
I should alter no34. I'd go ahead for Jethro ... or Don Draper.

If you discovered boys in junior school, one wonders what you did n high school? And when did this fetish for toast and marmalade start? I'd have to bring my own sandwiches. I loathe marmalade. Raspberry jam every time.

Blogger Rog said...

Woof!

And I think you really fancy Dave Cameron but are in denial.

(alright, I'm barking)

Blogger Geoff said...

Oh blimey, I do the opposite to Betty when she asks me "how was your day?"

I see an anti-Tory theme there, Kaz. Have you seen the picture of Cameron on the front of the latest Spectator? He's a revolutionary!

11:33 am
Blogger KAZ said...

Madame:
High school - it's on the list!
I was a late starter with the marmalade - there's hope for you yet.

Rog:
Don't be daft - you know it's Barking Boris for me.
Lily could have told you that!

Geoff:
Ah - but Betty has to live with you!
Irrepressibly cheerful people make me miserable. Give me a wet blanket any day.

First of all, Mistress MJ is pleased that you posted a photo of a Fiestaware pitcher as she is a Fiestaware fanatic.

Secondly…Dammit! XL posted the clip I had for you.

Thirdly...Bitchfight over Don Draper ensues.

Blogger Ms Scarlet said...

Ha ha ha!!! ;o)
Sx

Blogger KAZ said...

MJ:
There is a more colourful picture of a pitcher on this page
You have to be up early to beat XL.
I happen to know that Don likes older women.

Scarlet:
Well - I suppose the concept of a bloke who is hunky, rich, big and available might be a bit comical.
But we can hope.

That link you just posted for me?

I was at the "American Streamlined Design: The World of Tomorrow" exhibition and it was FANTASTIC!

I have the book too.

I never realised that Muffin the Mule could be considered rude until I was 23 - up until then I was very fond of him.

6:03 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

MJ:
Wow - I'm so jealous.
Is this a coincidence or am I 'in tune' with you after all this time?

Ziggi:
I was enlightened by my students who persuaded me to show them the photo of Muffin and mini me with Annette Mills.
I lived to regret it.

6:32 pm
Blogger The Mistress said...

It's not just a shoe size we share and a mutual love of Don Draper. And vodka.

It goes much deeper than that with us, KAZ.

7:38 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

So True:
Just glad you didn't mention nekkid old men!

9:14 pm
Blogger Kevin Musgrove said...

So why don't we get to see the photo of Muffin and mini you with Anette Mills?

I didn't know Kaz!

But Womack and Womack, "Teardrops"?

Really???!?!?

9:27 pm
Blogger Roses said...

Oh hai XL and Savannah.

I quite liked the Thompson Twins, but then I'm an 80s girl at heart.

10:35 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

Kevin:
I have had requests (ahem)
I will get around to it one day.

NiC:
Yes - Witchie posted something about me at her place and you followed the link.

That track always creeps up on me when it comes on the radio. It's so understated.
The video just looks as though someone left an old camcorder running .

Roses:
Loved the hairstyles.

I hear Dave's in Manchester this week. Can you get his autograph for me please.

I wonder what you are really saying?
What are the subliminal messages behind this post? Most of your answers are deflecting self deprecating and yet you display a photo of Harry Ass Truman...
the only President to actually drop the Bomb on hundreds of hundreds of thousands of non combatant civilians?

Hmm?

3:53 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

Gosh Donn - you've really upset me now. As an ignorant Britisher I didn't even realise who it was when I posted it.
I've chopped him off but kept MJ's Fiesta pitcher.

TA - what's wrong with Truman fondling a toaster? Is the sublime message (or better: Has the sublime message been): Nuke Canada?
I really hope Donnn will see the light! :)

Blogger KAZ said...

Mago:
My area of expertise is toast and marmalade rather than the history of warfare in North America.
I hope Donn returns to sort it out.

7:40 am
Blogger Romeo Morningwood said...

omg..I was being silly? Please accept this apology..honestly I get is so much trouble for the weirdest things.

First of all you shouldn't EVER change anything because I said something stupid and secondly Harry Ass Truman was a haberdasher from the sticks who had to make one of the toughest decisions in history. I didn't mean to imply that you were being mean spirited..turns out I was by being too cryptic.

I'm sorry..KICK ME!

8:39 pm
Blogger KAZ said...

Donn:
You are being too "self deprecating" Please carry on being outspoken and cryptic.
I'll get Muffin the Mule to give you a little kick.

9:34 pm
Blogger The Mistress said...

I wouldn't mind giving Donn a little pinch on the bottom in lieu of a kick.
